For administration in drinking water.

Pigs
Administer 5-10 mg lincomycin per kg bodyweight per day (equivalent to 0.125-0.25 g product/10 kg bw/day). Treatment should be administered for at least 5 consecutive days, no more than 10 days.

Chickens
Administer 3-6 mg lincomycin per kg bodyweight per day (equivalent to 7.5- 15 g product/1000 kg bw/day) for 7 consecutive days.
In order to ensure consumption of the medicated water, animals should not have access to other water supplies whilst being treated.
To ensure a correct dosage, bodyweight should be determined as accurately as possible to avoid underdosing. The uptake of medicated water depends on the clinical condition of the animal. In order to obtain the correct dosage the concentration of Lincomycin has to be adjusted taking into account water intake.
Medicated water should be refreshed every 24 hours.

Pigs:
Treatment of swine dysentery caused by Brachyspira hyodysenteriae strains suscpetible to lincomycin.
Chickens (broilers):
Control of necrotic enteritis caused by Clostridium perfringens strains, susceptible to lincomycin.

Pigs:
Meat and offal: Zero days

Chickens:
Meat and offal: zero days
Eggs: Not authorized for use in laying hens producing eggs for human consumption.
