S.P. VETERINARIA PARTICIPATED IN THE V EDITION OF THE PORCO D'OURO GALA, IN PORTUGAL 8/7/2022
It was together with its representative in Portugal, Representagro, that participated in this edition held in Quinta da Atela, in Alparça.
This event is characterized by highlighting the work and effort of those involved in the pig sector and their responsibility for ensuring the supply of food to the fork of all Portuguese. The event had 76 nominees for 31 awards in distinction to the results of numerical production, farrowing rate, and longevity.
It was also attended by Maria do Céu Antunes, Minister of Agriculture and Food for the delivery of the Porco d'Ouro Ministry of Agriculture Special Award for Health, Biosafety, Animal Welfare, and, Environment.
In the context of the crisis that the pig sector is going through, we want to highlight the great work that is done daily to ensure the continuity of production.
