OXYGAN 500 mg/g Powder for use in drinking water, available for calves, lambs, kids, pigs, rabbits, broilers, turkeys, ducks and laying hens.
In S.P. Veterinaria we advocate for the responsible and prudent use of antibiotics and work to contribute to this new scenario. That is why we have developed this new veterinary medicinal product classified by the European Medicines Agency on the Category D, prudence. Indicated for the treatment and metaphylaxis of septicaemia, respiratory and digestive infections. (Read the SPC before using the product).
Oxytetracycline is a broad-spectrum antibiotic (active against Gram + and Gram - bacteria, and Mycoplasma spp., Chlamydia spp. y Rickettsia spp.). The absorption of oxytetracycline given orally in fasted animals is 2-4 hours and its bioavailability is 60-80%. It has a wide distribution as it diffuses throughout the body.
In addition, our formula with the excipient Citric Acid, allows a 24 hour stability of the product once diluted.
